Thursday Night at the Movies

9/10 Winchester '73 (1950)

Lin McAdam (James Stewart) wins a prized Winchester '73 rifle in a shooting contest, only to have it stolen. But he has more than one reason to track down the thief, who may be the man who killed Lin's father. Shelley Winters, Dan Duryea and Stephen McNally also star.

Katherine Hepburn and Spencer Tracy play married lawyers whose courtroom battles spill over into their own private lives

 

9/24 STALAG 17 (1953)

William Holden won an Oscar for his portrayal of Sergeant J.J. Sefton, a cynical and opportunistic prisoner of war who is suspected by his fellow prisoners of being a spy for the Nazis.
